Dave studied music at Schenectady Community College and was accepted to Berklee School of Music. Dave hails from Albany New York and teaches from his studio in Rensselaer, NY which is a 5 minute drive from Albany. The studio is equipped with a 5 piece birch Premier drumkit & 5 piece birdseye maple Mapex Orion Series drumkit. Paiste & Sabian cymbals are used with both kits. Dave teaches students: Age group: Starting at six years old and up. Level: Beginners, Intermediate, Professional - "We never stop learning at any level!" Style's Taught: Rock, Punk, Funk, Ska, Alternative, Hip Hop, Country, Reggae, R&B. "There isn't a style that cannot be taught"! Beginners will be taught terminology, basic drum setup, rudiments, importance of timing, sight reading and how to play your favorite songs! Intermediate & Working Professionals: Students will be taught advanced rudimental study, linear style playing, double bass, how to groove while playing to a click track, how to overcome any obstacle's and to correct any bad habits developed that hinders your practice, live or studio performance.
